Youth Leadership Director
Youth Leadership Coordinator
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree through Cairn University’s Youth Ministry Program. I then worked in college admissions for 2 years facilitating graduating high school seniors through the enrollment process. More recently, I have worked locally with youth for 2 years through New Hope Community Church and have held various roles serving and mentoring youth for the past 7 years across the country. I hope that my experience, combined with the talents and strengths that our staff and volunteers bring to our organization, will significantly impact the substance abuse problem in our community.
In addition to my role with NHSC, I work at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC. and have been a part of the New Hope-Solebury School district as a mom of two children, a volunteer, a substitute teacher, and a Girl Scout leader. As a parent and a member of the community, I feel it is so important to get involved with our youth and help guide them into make healthy decisions. I hope that through NHSC, the community can come together and become role models for our children and help lead them into making good choices in life through education and support.
As the Youth Leadership Coordinator for NHSC, my job is to inspire youth to join our cause, to use their voices to make change happen, and to work directly with our youth leaders. I am a graduate of The College of New Jersey, with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I am also currently pursuing my Master’s Degree at The College of New Jersey in School Counseling and working towards receiving my Student Assistance Coordinator certification. Previously, I worked with youth through my position as an Assistant Preschool Teacher at the Lambertville Academy and through my eight years of working as a Nanny for kids of all ages and developmental stages. What I ask of the community is that they strive towards a safe and positive New Hope-Solebury climate for all, but especially for our youth.
